Tikopia in Discussion on Youtube

Emma Powell has located a clip on youtube that references Tikopia.  The story of the island and the legendary decision to kill their pigs has made it into the current draft of the script in several scenes.  It is also the story that got the most uptake in the pilot workshops - young people seem to love it.

10.1 Billion Peak Population

The United Nations has just published their predicted peak population, and they are saying humanity should expect its population to peak at 10.1 billlion by the end of the century, not 9 billion as others have predicted.  The New York Times has created a page to allow discussion of this news:
