In January 2012, I had the opportunity to get right back to the heart of what makes ALL AT ONCE I SAW A CROWD a great project: the script. I spent seven days at Annaghmakerrig artist's retreat in County Monaghan, and was able to complete the entire redrafting of 120 pages.
On the 19th of February, Sarah Davey and I organised a reading of the draft in London - a brilliant opportunity for any writer. Feedback is: one more rewrite will see the play ready for casting. I will be heading back to Annaghmakerrig June 18-25th, 2012 to write the final draft.
For those of you in the know: all your ideas about Adam's death bore fruit, and Benny is a much more interesting character! Jin is fully three-dimensional and living in 2060 - but perhaps Sam still needs work....
If anyone would like to read the current draft, or wants to see the work after June, just get in touch.
