ARRIVALS 2015: A Call for Writers

The aim of the project is to introduce professional Northern Irish playwrights to professional multicultural actors and representatives of Northern Ireland's multicultural communities to create high quality new theatre. 

How to Apply Submit a sample of a script you have written (10-20 pgs) and an A4 cover letter explaining why you’re interested in participating in Arrivals2. 

Please submit your expression of interest by 29 Aug 2014 to terranovaproductions@yahoo.co.uk, with the subject heading ‘Arrivals2 Writer’.

If you are successful, you will be commissioned to create a 12-15 page mini play, based on an intercultural masterclass weekend, workshopping with the Terra Nova team, professional actors and members of Northern Ireland's multicultural communities.

You need to be free on the following dates:

Masterclass Weekend: evening of 17th October, 10-5 on 18th and 19th of October, 2014

Writers' Meeting with AD - 25th October 2014

Deadline for 1st draft - 5th November, 2014

Deadline for 2nd draft - 19th November, 2014

Workshop scripts with actors - either 20th or 21st November, 2014

Deadline for 3rd draft - 12th December

For your information, rehearsals will start on 23rd February, 2015.
